Extra Care Special Features

There will be 24 hour on-site staffing and a daily house keeping service included for all residents.

There will also be Domestic Assistance and Personal Care available, which residents will be able to request depending on personal preferences for an additional cost.

Domestic Assistance

Domestic Assistance may include:

• Apartment cleaning
• Changing of bedding
• Laundry
• Keeping fridge stocked with basic food and drink
• Managing heating systems
• Shopping
• General administration, including bill paying, pension collecting and banking

Personal Care

Personal Care will be provided by an appointed Care agency and will be tailored to meet individual preferences and needs. Services may include:

• Assistance with dressing
• Assistance with bathing and personal grooming / skincare
• Assistance with meal preparation and dining
• Emotional support
• Assitance with medication
• Help with exercise / recovery programmes
• Social activities

24 hour on-site staffing and 24 hour Warden Call / Careline

The Estate Manager will be assisted by a team of dedicated, well trained staff, providing 24Hr on-site cover. They will be further backed up by the 24Hr Warden Call / Careline monitoring system.

The Estate Manager and their team will ensure the smooth running of the development and will create a real sense of community. They are the first point of contact should you need any assistance or advice.

Waitress Service Restaurant

The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and supper every day of the year. There will be a varied menu with consideration given to special dietary requirements. In the event of illness meals can also be served in the resident's apartment.

A separate private dining suite / function room will also be available for parties and family and friends are welcome to join residents in the restaurant for a small extra charge.

Lounge / Conservatory

The elegantly furnished lounge and conservatory areas, with coffee bar, will provide an ideal meeting place and relaxation area for residents and friends and family and will be used for entertainment at other times. There will be a large screen plasma TV which will allow residents to enjoy their favourite TV shows, films and sporting moments.

Salon & Therapy Room

Hairdressing facilities will be available and residents will also be able to choose from a range of beauty and spa-type treatments.

Laundry

The ground floor will have a laundry room with separate washers and dryers conveniently raised for ease of use.

Guest Suite

For visiting family and friends, there will be a fully furnished, twin-bed, Guest Suite with en-suite bathroom available for a modest charge. Guests are welcome to join residents in the restaurant for any meals.

Lifts

Lifts will provide easy access to all floors and will be adapted for safety, with soft close doors and a link to Warden Call / Careline.

Magazine / Book Exchange, Internet, Post

There will be a magazine and book exchange, as well as a computer with internet access and a postal service.

Peaceful, Tranquil, Landscaped Gardens

There will be a fully landscaped and maintained garden to offer attractive vistas, strong colours, walking areas and sheltered seating throughout the year.

Dedicated Minibus

There will be a dedicated minibus for day trips and shopping excursions.
